According to the latest statistics from different
harvesting areas, Crop 2007 reached to approximately
320,000 Metric Tons.
Crop 2007 was out early Sep 07 and During Sep 7,500
MT has been exported to various destinations.
The exported Pistachio in Oct 07 was exceeding than
19,500 MT, and this figure fo Nov 07 , was 36,800 MT.
Totally the exported Pistachio was exceeding than
63,800 MT.
During Dec 07, the shipment from origin will be about
24,000 MT.
To have a general view we should consider 14,000 MT
for domestic consumption, 5,000 MT making Kernels out of
Pistachio Nuts , which totally they come to 107,000 MT.
If we bring the 8,000 MT to calculation as boarders
exchange, thy totally come to 115,000 MT and the balance
of 205,000 MT left for the rest of season , 9 months
till crop 2008 will be out.
